A2130 - Calibration Runs (24-Aug-2008 to 31-Oct-2008) -- Observing Status


Nine Calibrator sources are being observed in Meridian nodding (aka basket weaving) mode, using both the Mock-spectrometer and the WAPPs. Cima "Command File" mode is used for this purpose. WAPPS are configured in the same way as in A2186. Entire 300-MHz Band is used for the Mocks (no 100-MHz filter). The setup files etc. are at: /share/obs4/usr/pulsar/a2130 and /share/obs4/usr/a2130.


Mock set-up: 2-byte, 2 msec, 2x2048 ch, BW 2x170 MHz, centre frq 1375 MHz, scanlen 20 sec, turnover 10 sec.
WAPP set-up: 4-byte, 4 msec, 2048 ch, BW 100 MHz, centre frq 1375 MHz, scanlen 20 sec, turnover 10 sec.
