Coordination with GPS L3
The Global Positioning Satellite system has a mode, "L3" at 1381 MHz,
which is used for global alarm. If it is within your observing band,
then all astronomical signal gets swamped. With advanced notice,
the observatory is in a position to alert the responsible authorities
and request rescheduling GPS L3 transmission.
