off to a slow start!

header in first files centred at 1450 MHz should be 1420 MHz
(apparently the headers come from the WAPP guis - not the IFLO)

saw B0523+11 in beam0 but online reduction promptly deleted
the file! (caused by script not using unique filenames)

now moving to beams 1-6 --- from beam 2 onwards, we are passing
1420 MHz to the headers

ask jeff to display which beam is the pointing centre in CIMA

ask for automatic startup of the "ALFA observation monitor" window

0018 -- beam 0 s/n=114
0020 -- beam 2 s/n=81

problems reading data for J0625+1015

bands need to be flipped at the moment --- frequency
of first channel is on the low side of the band. apparently
freqinversion flag is not being set in the header.

takes about 20 sec to do settling and adjpwr between sources,
in addition to slew time, which this morning is between ~ 10 and
30 sec - to then do 67 sec ints!!

all in all - it could have been worse!
