Big Green Car Photoshop Wizardry

The image displayed on the BGC page has been masterfully processed by Peter Erwin using Photoshop. Wasn't that nice of him? The original scanned version had several artifacts which he was able to remove, as you can see below:

The original. The writing was on the 3"x5" color print, and the negatives were not to be found. The tear at the bottom was courtesy of the letter carrier who crammed it into my mailbox.

I find the final product to be nothing short of amazing. To me what it shows (besides an elegant and stylish automobile) is that with the advent of the digital age, photographic evidence has now become completely unreliable. It's too bad the car's engine trouble couldn't be similarly effaced.
