The Arecibo Galaxy Environment Survey (AGES) is an intermediate depth HI survey with the Arecibo L-band Feed Array (ALFA) multibeam instrument. When completed, it will cover an area of 200 sq. deg. to an integration time of 300 s/beam. Thirteen areas of sky have been selected, covering the full range of environments from the Local Void through isolated galaxies, galaxy pairs and galaxy groups to the Virgo Cluster.
