Subject: UPDATE:  GPS L3 RFI Alert for March/April, 2008--Exact times.

We have been been given additional information regarding the
previously scheduled late-March,  on-orbit tests of the new,
GPS 2R-19 (M6) satellite.  The USAF is attempting to minimize
overlap with NRAO-Socorro and Arecibo projects with the following
schedule, and by limiting the cross-link between only 2 vehicle
platforms.  I apologize for the late notice of the detailed schedule.
This detailed scheduling information was provided to me by our USAF
GPS contact last Wednesday morning (MDT), but got "lost" in my in-
basket, and was not distributed by me until today.

Also shown below are the latest RZAP/LZAP tests scheduled for
early April.

The following,  military GPS-L3 test Transmissions may cause RFI
to observations scheduled for the use of L-band (21cm) on the UTC
date(s) and time(s) listed below.

The 1381 MHz frequency is within the VLA L-band 21/20cm "LL"/"21",
"L1", and "L2", continuum default frequencies, and any L-band
spectral line set-up that includes 1381.05 ± 2.5 MHz.
