on January 16, 2013 Dr. Steven S. Vogt, Distinguished Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics, University of California, Santa Cruz presented the conference: “Across a Sea of Suns: Charting Distant Worlds, Other Earths” at the Amphitheater of the Arecibo Observatory Visitor Center. Students, faculty, scientists from Universidad Metropolitana, University of Puerto Rico, Ponce, Pontificia Universidad Católica of Puerto Rico-Ponce and Arecibo Observatory attended the Conference.
