Fall 2012 Pre-College Saturday Academy

Dr. Juan F. Arratia Mrs. Aida Albo, AO Academic Coordinator, announced the opening of the Arecibo Observatory Fall Pre-College Research Program.  Twenty-one students (21) from the north area of Puerto Rico are currently participating in this research academy. The UPR professor Abel Méndez and the Caribbean University professor Luisa Zambrano are mentoring the students with projects in astronomy and space sciences.
