Announcing AO/GBT Single Dish Summer School May 16th - 20th, 2022
Byelliot.gonzalez30 March 2022 Astronomy

We are very excited to host a hybrid school this year in which participants may attend in person at the Arecibo Observatory in Arecibo, Puerto Rico or virtually.
The school will include lectures on the fundamentals of single dish radio astronomy as well as a variety of hands-on, guided research projects that make use of the 12-m radio antenna at AO, the 20-m radio antenna (remotely) at GBO, and the extensive AO data archive.
This is a great opportunity for undergraduates seriously considering pursuing astronomy related careers, graduate students, and postdocs looking to grow their knowledge of single dish radio astronomy.
The school's official webpage will be updated with the agenda, and interested participants can register using the form.
Stay tuned to this page and Arecibo and Green Bank observatories on social media!
