intro

    The apr11 xband system performance showed a strong gain variation with zenith angle. This is usually caused by a residual platform tilt.  It is not unexpected because the beam repair could have rearranged the weight distribution on the platform. The platform tilt is measured by doing azimuth swings with the tilt sensor and then fitting for the 1az term. To check on the tilt:

    The tiedown positions computed to level the platform ( 10,11 may11) were never installed as new tiedown positions since it would change the pointing. In preparation for a new pointing model (Feb or mar 12) azswings were done with the 11may12 tiedown positions to verify that they still gave a small amplitude to the 1 azimuth term.
