Up: OBSERVING PROCEDURES
Previous: Standard On
This procedure is similar to the `Standard On' routine except
that it completely ignores your source list and acquires data wherever
the telescope is pointing.
This means that no Doppler corrections are applied, and the
correlator begins taking data as soon as the ``Observe!" button is pushed.
The only adjustable parameters are the record dump time, scan
duration, number of scans, frequency, and correlator board set-up. The downstairs power
levels should be adjusted for this routine.
The ``Run Correlator" procedure is typically only used for telescope
and RFI diagnostics.
