Frequency Switching

Although is it technically feasible to observe in frequency-switching mode at Arecibo, we do NOT support frequency-switching at the moment. This is due to the (so far) unpredictable nature of the standing waves in the data, which makes frequency-switched data essentially useless. The possibility of using Arecibo in frequency switching mode is still being investigated, and hopefully it will someday become an option.
